Classic Truck & Machinery Show (Geelong)

This was my second time to this event and although there were fewer trucks than the  previous year, there was still enough on display to satisfy even the most hardened enthusiast.

Aside from the tractor pull and the various truck and machinery displays the real standout for me this year was the large turnout of historic cars, which were a real feast for the eye and a photographers dream.

I made the decision to go on the Sunday this year and it definitely was the right choice, making for a great day out.

Blitz & Bitz (Launching Place)

On our journeys up to our block in Marysville I'd occasionally take a different route home through Warburton, where I'd noticed a few vehicles parked in a paddock just off the main road. After several such journeys and with camera to hand I finally decided to take a slight detour to see what they were and was more than surprised with what I discovered. Aside from the obvious Blitz and drag-line crane there was also Studebaker CCKW cab as well as several chassis, making the side trip all the more worthwhile.
