I've wanted to visit this Museum for some time and as I happened to be in the area for another reason, the opportunity was taken to finally tick it off my 'to do' list. The Museum is a very historic building in its own right and the collection of vehicles displayed within is just amazing. However, with both the theme and collection of vehicles displayed within changing every six months, it means that a return visit will definitely be on the cards.
After enduring cancellations and border closures thanks to Covid, I was finally able to attend this event once again after a 2 year hiatus. It was a great spectacle as usual, although I did miss a few important vehicles that I was hoping to see due to their earlier than expected departure.
It's hard to believe the last time I attended this event was way back in 2016 and since then a lot has changed and happened. As always the open day was well organised and attended, with perfect weather and a lot to see and do.
