Another place I haven't visited for over 20 years was the Motor Museum at Birdwood and as I was in Adelaide for a week and the opportunity arose to go for a drive, it seemed as good a place as any to go and visit. Since I was last here the Museum has undergone a significant redevelopment and the old mill is now no longer used to house displays. The new facilities are nothing short of impressive as are the exhibits contained within. It is an amazing collection of vehicles and motorbikes and well worth a visit if you are ever in Adelaide.

National Military Vehicle Musuem (South Australia)
It's been over 20 years since I lasted visited this Museum and at the time it was located in the old Messenger Press building in Port Adelaide. So when I got the chance to spend a week in Adelaide recently with a bit of time to spare, I took the opportunity to visit their new premises, which is located in some old WWII buildings within the Defence precinct of Edinburgh Parks. It was great to see how this Museum has developed in its new premises and the collection of vehicles, radios and artifacts that they have on display is just amazing. If you are ever in the area it is well worth the visit.
