Historic Commercial Vehicle Club Display (Yarra Glen)

Despite it being a little overcast this year, it nevertheless turned out to be a perfect day and the number of vehicles that showed up was absolutely amazing. I've been coming to this event for four years now and every year I see more and more vehicles that I've not seen before, which makes going to it all the more worthwhile. As long as the event remains as good as this I'll be back again in 2018.

National Motor Museum (Birdwood)

Another place I haven't visited for over 20 years was the Motor Museum at Birdwood and as I was in Adelaide for a week and the opportunity arose to go for a drive, it seemed as good a place as any to go and visit. Since I was last here the Museum has undergone a significant redevelopment and the old mill is now no longer used to house displays. The new facilities are nothing short of impressive as are the exhibits contained within. It is an amazing collection of vehicles and motorbikes and well worth a visit if you are ever in Adelaide.
